Chris Kubecka is an experienced, committed, energetic and certified digital security expert who is passionate about solutions. Author of multiple books including the 2019 release of Hack the World with OSINT.  Over 20 years of professional experience ranging from military, government, public and private business. Prior to establishing HypaSec in 2015, Chris established and headed network and security operations teams, ICS security, international joint intelligence teams, EU/UK privacy group for EMEA and South American (outside Saudi Arabia) for Aramco Overseas Company, part of Saudi Aramco. Tasked with setting up digital security after the 2012 Shamoon attacks and featured on Darknet Diaries episode 30 Shamoon. At Unisys she advised flagship clients at Lloyds TSB and Danone on their overall security and incident response. It is no surprise that outside of work she continues to tap into his love for research by pursuing IoT and ICS exploitation and defense of critical infrastructure.

Matthias Schäfer is the managing director of the CNS monitoring solutions provider SeRo Systems. During his PhD at TU Kaiserslautern, he has extensively analyzed the security of CNS systems and developed several methods to mitigate the risk and impact of cyber attacks. Before starting SeRo Systems, he worked as a security researcher for the Information Technology and Cyberspace group of armasuisse S+T in 2011 and the University of Oxford in 2012. He is also a co-founder and board
member of the OpenSky Network and a lecturer in the Computer Science Department at TU Kaiserslautern.

Ken Munro is Partner and Founder of Pen Test Partners LLP, a firm of experienced penetration testers, otherwise known as ethical hackers. He regularly blogs on everything from maritime cyber security to hacking satcoms and the Internet of Things, as well as conducting research into aeronautical cyber security. He also writes for various newspapers and industry magazines in an effort to get beyond the unhelpful scaremongering put about by many security vendors. Ken has become a voice for reform and legislative change in the largely unregulated IIoT and IoT, briefing UK and US government departments as well as being involved with various EU consumer councils.

Chris Blask has been involved in the industrial control system and information security industries for more than twenty-five years. 
Mr Blask’s career spans the breadth of the cybersecurity spectrum. He invented one of the first commercial firewall products, built a multi-billion dollar firewall business at Cisco System, co-founded an early SIEM vendor and authored the first book on SIEM. Today he is Director of Webster University's Cyberspace Research Institute where he oversees the operation of the Knowledge Sharing Directorate. He is also a Senior Partner at Fearless Security.

Presenting: Understanding ATM Regulatory Developments and Their Effects


John joined EUROCONTROL in 1992, and lead engineering teams in both the Karlsruhe and Maastricht ATC centres, working on the development of Flight Data Processing Systems, developing air traffic statistics tools, and modernising legacy systems processing airspace environmental data.
Since 2006, he has been involved in Air Traffic Management Security, providing support to ANSPs, Regulators, State Authorities and Industry on methods, tools, and regulatory requirements. He was a co-developer of the EUROCONTROL “Security Risk Management Toolkit” and associated training course.
Since 2008, he has been involved in the SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) programme, managing projects developing security reference material, and coordinating security activities in the programme. He is participating in SESAR 2020.
John is co-chair of the ACARE Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda (SRIA) WG4 on Safety and Security, and will be working on the EU OPTICS2 programme. He is on the advisory board of the Horizon 2020 PACAS project.

Bruce Jackson, BSAE, MA MI, is President of Air Informatics® LLC. In the area of e-Enabled Aviation, Bruce has worked with Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, Kenya Airways, Royal Jordanian Airways, Bombardier Aerospace, and Gulfstream. Air Informatics, represented by Bruce Jackson, was invited by the U.S. Department of Commerce to participate in the Cyber Security Mission to the Near East and North Africa.
Bruce and his company Air Informatics and this team has worked extensively in the digital e-Enabled aircraft domain. The work of Air Informatics has addressed e-Enabled Aircraft issues for Airbus, Bombardier Boeing, and Gulfstream operators. This includes critical issues of aircraft connectivity, informatics, analytics, big data, and cyber security. This includes loadable software part delivery, security logs, Airplane Health Management data, InFlight Entertainment, SatCom, cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity, aircraft and airline operational cyber security, ground architectures and system. Bruce has developed an Airplane Network Security Program for several airlines, and conducted aircraft systems and passenger cabin cyber security vulnerability assessment and cyber security penetration testing for commercial airliners and large cabin business jets.

Nicole leads the team responsible for regulatory cyber security oversight, for aviation in the UK. Her aim is to have a proportionate and effective approach that enables aviation to manage cyber security risks without compromising aviation safety, security or resilience (with a particular focus on critical national infrastructure). Having worked in a variety of industries in various GRC and technical information security roles, she loves the interconnected and diverse nature of aviation.
